- (Brownwood) Cabins at the State park…State Park
- (Brownwood) Tim’s RV (This would be fine if there were only about 4 of us going, crowded if more)

- (PK) Bass Hollow
Dates
- I suggest that we stick with the early August dates like we have in the past. Second weekend in August is my vote.

I vote for Brownwood - either cabins or the 37′ RV. It may be easier and roomier to just snag one of the cabins though. just depends on what you guys want to do. I’m good either way.
Second week of august should work for me.

btw, i was checking out our pics from last summer the other night on flickr… i was rollin… i hadnt seen the comments before. soooo funny… love it.
for those missing out… you are truly missing out!
this year i’ll try not to be as tired (last summer was one of lots of stress so i did more sleeping than i wanted to)… i dont even think i got on the wakeboard???

Anyway, i’m voting for brownwood or PK - cabin at either.
Brownwood would be closer for us, i think - whereas PK would be alot further for Bu$ter. I’d really like to do the activities - you know, wakeboarding/parasailing - that kinda stuff over fishing - but i guess i’ll do both. heh.

I’m leaning towards PK now, I am talking with the lady at the place we stayed at year 1 about possibly trading a cabin for a website. Or at least a night or two. They have totally redone the whole cabin and its very nice. I have pics that I will share when the time is right.
If this goes down - I would like to try that out. It has a private dock and you know how much fun we had and it was only me, Benny & Buster.

that sounds like a plan James - i mean if we can all pitch in and get a site for the time there, that’d be great - but i would assume (not ASSUME, bennie) it would be a rather simple business card site - especially for just a couple nights rent - ya know? If we are going to have to get crazy with development, then we need to get money’s worth of trade - if the site would normally be worth $1500 then we need to make sure we get that amount of trade with them, ya know? (even if we were to use it next year as well)

Yeah, well the cabin we are looking at is about 225 a night, so if we can redo their site for a weekend… hell I would take the hit. I like the people and I would love to help them out. I know what you mean, obviously it would not make sense to pour in tons of hours for a few days free.
I don’t think it would come down to that, they really don’t want to change much. They might not even like a change. They talked like it was done by a person in the family - so they didn’t want to step on anyone’s toes.

anything moving forward on this, or is it kinda dead in the water? haven’t heard anything about it from anyone… heh, maybe you guys kicked me out of the circle since i don’t have IM anymore…?
